Simon is thorough and meticulous and appears regularly in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia as well as the Family Court of Australia. He has appeared in Sydney, Parramatta, Melbourne and Brisbane Family and Federal Courts and works alongside experienced senior and junior counsel ensuring you are provided with the best advice and representation possible.
Simon is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and a Graduate Fellow of the College of Law New South Wales. He holds a Bachelor degree in Arts and a Bachelor degree in Laws from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and a Master of Laws (Applied Law) Family Law from the College of Law New South Wales.
Simon also has significant experience in criminal defence law in the indictable and summary jurisdictions, wills and estate law as well as commercial and civil litigation.
Simon’s ability to assist clients in stressful situations is tempered by his time as a Commissioned Officer in the Australian Army Reserve and his service in the emergency services sector. Simon has represented New South Wales and Australia in amateur sports and is a keen supporter of both junior rugby league and junior rugby union.
